A good start

Tourist for the day

I've been working here in Singapore for 10 months & I never really been anywhere that much. So I'm trying to be a 'tourist for the day' along with my nephew who follows his mom (my sis) for a work trip.

So y'day we start off early thinking that we can probably cover few places. We decided to visit the Science Centre Singapore (keep in mind that he's only 12!) & buy the 3-in-1 package. So I bought the tix which include Science Centre admission + Dinosaur Live! Exhibition + iMax movie-Flying Monsters. Adult tix $30, children under 12 is $22 for the whole thing. We spend approx. 5 hours there! Plus it was raining like crazee outside so we were basically stuck in there.

Around 4pm we decided to headback to the hotel where my sis is staying & just sleep! We were wayyyy too tired to go anywhere else!

But around 8pm we set off again to Little India to visit the ever famous Mustafa Centre. We have my sis, my sis's friend & my ever loyal 'cinta hati' with us. We had the best Chicken & Mutton Briyani at Tandoori Restaurant just beside Mustafa Centre entrance (the first entrance if you are walking from Farrer Park MRT station). The mint sauce they served is the bomb y'all! :)

But the funniest thing was we couldn't find the exit door at Mustafa Centre because the place is super duper huge! And when we did find the exit, we were actually at the end of the centre!!! Which is basically at the end of the Syed Alwi Street! We had to walk quite far to get back to the entrance we came in! Haha... But at least none of us cry or show any tantrum (thumbs up!). No wonder Mustafa Centre is open 24 hours because it took us at least 30mins to find the exit! It was really pack with all kind of things. The only thing they didn't sell is houses & cars! Lol!!!

But it was a fun day :)

But today the only place we manage to visit is the Streets Hong Kong Cafe for our brunch located at Liang Courts beside the hotel. Haha.. We are still tired from y'day.

Oh yeah the hotel is situated at Clarke Quay. THE hotspot of Singapore. Pretty cool eh? We can see the Marina Bay Sand area from the room, the river is just 2mins walk & the evercool hang out place is just downstairs.

We might go for the rivercruise later on once we get our full energy back! And tonight is all about Arab St.! :)))

Tomorrow will be even better! My 2nd USS trip! USS stands for Universal Studio Singapore. We are all prepared with raincoats (bought it at Mustafa Centre for $1.50/each) because it is the rainy season here. Boo!

spa manja :)

Hello everyone! How was your last weekend? I hope you had a great one. I know I did :)

Mr boyfie bring me to Spa Manja for a full spa treatment as my birthday gift! How great is that? It is indeed the best birthday present ever! Or shall I say at par with an LV handbag. Haha..

So we both took the same package, the Celebrity package. During the session we felt like king and queen. And by the end of the session we felt wayyy too pampered and a very very very happy customer.

If somehow you visit Johor Bahru, please make a point to visit Spa Manja. You won't regret it :)

The Celebrity package include foot soak, 30mins of body scrub (Javanese Lulur/Balinese Boreh), Jacuzzi, steam, 90mins of massage and 15mins of ear candling. In total we spend approximately 3 hours at the spa, and mr boyfie said the most expensive present he ever gave someone (or any if he ever gave a present) :p

We've been thinking to visit the spa again soon. I don't mind going there again just for the Jacuzzi and steam. It's just 10mins drive from home! More reason to visit again! *hint*hint*hint* HAHA!

long weekend.good times

I love long weekends! Who doesn't? Right? ;) Mine was well spend with family, friends, and him (of course!)

We thought that we are not going to see each other at least on Saturday. But we end up spending the long weekend together. Haha... With exception that we spend it together with my friends, his friends, my family, and his family. I'm so glad that everyone feels comfortable hanging out together and there's no awkward moment at all. I'm blessed to have family and friends who likes him, and know that he is very important to me. And I'm happy that I'm always welcome by his family.

The best thing about my long weekend was when we get the chance to make Viber calls and Whatsapp each other at 2am. It's been quite sometimes since we did that. But I missed him. I missed his arms wrap around me and all the things that only we share. Yeah I know it's only for 2 nights, but I missed him.

And today I'm still at home since I followed Ireland's holiday of Easter break. I'm home alone doing nothing. How I wish he's on holiday too and we get to spend today together. But a girl can never get everything she wants right? Hehe... I can't be too greedy. I'll just wait for him to finish work and we will spend some time together.

Just a dream?

I wish that everything is not just a dream. Me and you. It is real right? I have never feel like this before. The reality is too dreamy.

Even if it is just a dream, I refuse to wake up ever. Because you are all I think about.

Things are getting better each day. And all I want to do is look forward for us every single day. I'm happy when I'm with you. I'm always smiling, laughing, and having fun when you are around.

We plan. We met. We travel together. We talked non-stop for hours. And things starts slowly from there. I don't even know what we were back then. But I'm glad we make it.

Ahhhh... This is what happen when I'm in love. I'll type away my happiness. Telling the whole world about my feelings :)

make it or break it?

Hello! Hello 2011! Ops! It's March already?! How time flies when you are having fun ;) Oh well, I start 2011 with a new job in Singapore. I love it! I love my new job! Oh! And I'm off today since I followed Ireland holiday. It's St.Patrick Day! How I missed the crowd, the parade, the walk around Temple Bar, the food market, the friends, everything! I guess I still missed Dublin very much.

But I have no regrets leaving Dublin. I have no regrets leaving my hometown KL by accepting the new job in Spore. I'm glad I did all this. Or else I won't have the chance to meet the person who plays a big role in my life now. Never before I dream of being with a person like you. Someone who is different from me. Someone I almost have nothing in common. But you make me happy. Yes. You make me happy.

I'm taking risk to fall in love once again with you. I choose you and nobody else. Even it is hard in the beginning, I'm not gonna give up on us. I know I'm not in this alone. I have you by my side. I have you holding my hands.

I'm giving us a chance. You make me forget about my old dreams, because reality is much more better. I choose you. I'm letting go the wrong ones, I'm letting go the pasts because of you.

From now on it is gonna be a big test for both of us. Do we make it? Or do we break it? My promise is I'll stay with you as long as you love me, as long as I could.

I guess Jay-Ann is right. Love is the closest thing we have to magic. If love is magic, you will be the only magic I want, the only magic I appreciate, the only magic I want to learn, nothing else matters.

How I wish for some space for us to breath, to create our own story, a chance to build us. Now it is my turn to make you happy. My time to be with you. I've never ask for more. Just me and you.

2010: The End

When I read back my first post for 2010, it was about THE fresh start for myself back in my home sweet home in Malaysia. To be exact in busy busy busy KL. I was excited back then to start a new life (after my experience in Dublin obviously!).

But who would have guess that I'll have another fresh start for 2011! :D OK OK... Maybe I'll just stick with the end of 2010 for now.

So what actually happen to me in 2010? Just the normal boring stuff like everyone else I guess. Haha... But I have things to be thankful for this year.

I'm thankful for having the chance to spend a lot of time with my parents and the whole family.

I'm thankful that there were less drama this year.

I'm thankful for the experience I gained in work-related because it is useful to me.

I'm thankful to my friends for sticking with me even though we didn't meet/talk everyday like we used too back in Dublin (especially Akma, Suria, Tasha, Dila, Rina, Azza, Serene). We gonna grow old together girls! ;)

I'm thankful that I reconnect with my schoolmates friends (Dilla, Sofia, Amelia, Tim, Saila, Deena, Azie, Ain). And of course we will stick with each other & grow old together too!

I'm thankful that I'm able to get my own car (with no help from parents on $$$ at all). Alhamdulillah.

I'm thankful that I got to spend my weekends with lots of smiling and laughing surrounded by wonderful people.

I'm thankful I met a few amazing people (especially the little girl that I adore so much, Maya). She is such a sweetheart :)

I'm thankful for the new opportunity that will change my life completely in 2011 onwards.

I'm thankful for the baby steps that I took to achieved the opportunity. It shows that I still have my independence (at least to myself).

I'm thankful for every single day that I'm still alive.

And that's all I can think about now. But there are so many things to be thankful and 2010 have been a great year. I wish 2011 will be even better :)

I'm back. I dunno what's happening to me lately. I've been having crappy mood this days. The kind of mood when I don't feel like talking to anyone, I feel like faking a smile is all I have to do, pretending I'm happy like I always do, but at the same time I don't even know what's wrong.

I guess life is fair. I have good things coming into my life. But I feel like everything else is not. I feel as if my life is a mess. Yeah. A mess.

life as it is...

I noticed that I've been blogging a lot lesser than when I first start in 2005. This is actually my 6th year blogging or should I say telling the whole world about my oh-so-boring life. Many bloggers starts to put their blog on private mode after a few years, and I've been thinking to do the same thing.

There are way too many personal stuff in here. All of the guys I used to date read my blog before we starts dating, during, and (maybe) after. I guess it's one of the ways to get to know me. But honestly, my blog entry usually depends on my current mood, situations, and environment I'm in at that particular moment when I blog.

Sometimes I read my old entries and laugh at it! How can I be so childish at times? How can I sound so angry? Did I cry when I post that entry? Do anyone get hurt while reading it? And so many other questions popping in my mind. I know I can never satisfy everyone. I don't even know if anyone reads my blog.

This blog is part of me. I knew I could never just close it down or forget about it. Oh crap! I don't even know why I'm typing all this.

Food madnessssss!!!!

How's your weekend so far? Mine is going to end in 90mins! Darn! Oh well... Life have to go on. Monday will come eventually.

My weekend is full of FOOD! It's madness! I've been eating this and that over here and there. Eid open-house is superb! Yesterday I went to a friend's open-house, and there were canopies & yummylicious foods and it feels like going to a buffet! I eat almost everything!

At home, my mom cook Soto which is my favorite too! I can't resist it.... Haha...

As for today, me and bro went out to grab pizzas since I've been craving for days already. We got two large pizzas and there's only 4 of us at home (haha!). And my mom again made my favorite dish Laksa Johor for dinner which I can't definitely say no. It's a YES YES YES all the way! :D

This actually sums up my super short weekends which include food, food, food, food and food. I guess I really need to get going with my morning-jog plan (as if! haha!). My stomach is pretty happy this weekend and it's waiting for next weekend already. I have few invitations lined-up already for Saturday and at the moment I'm still free for Sunday ;)

What? My house? Nope. I don't think I'm going to do open-house. Since I can't afford canopies or catering food, I'll need to cook myself (which I'm not an expert). But we never know... BBQ sounds fun right? ;)

Alright that's it. I'm off! Going to fully utilize my remaining minutes of this weekend. Later peeps!

Happy Eid Mubarak to everyone that celebrates it! How was your Eid? Mine was good. Celebrate it with family after all this years, and it feels good. My Eid usually consists of drama (haha!), and this year is no exception. Oh well... Don't you just love a little bit of drama? hahahaa... Eid pics on my FB.

So most ppl are back from their holiday and starts working today. As for me, I started last Wednesday and the office was almost empty! Even today everyone is still in the holiday-mood.

I can't wait for tonight shopping trip with my bro and wife. I need her advise on stuff that I'm not good at. Haha... That will be beauty tips! :p

Oh yeah... One of my favourite girl came back for 2 weeks holiday! I got to catch-up with her (a.k.a. Suria Razak) last week and it was so much fun! Pics on my FB yeah :) Can't wait for her to come back for good soon! (when?). I guess I'll just have to wait for that time. Hehehe....

Hurmm... What else? Hurmmm.... One of my oldest friend start contacting me again and I'm glad he did. I'm glad that we could still keep in touch. We were bestfriend for like few years before we fell apart for reasons I prefer not to blog about. It's a long time ago and I think we can start fresh again as friends.

And right now I'm thinking to go to JB to visit my friend. Should call him and plan the road trip properly. Need him to book me a hotel or something. Probably I can meet another friend who live in JB too. It's gonna be so much fun! (Note to myself: Plan trip to JB now!)

Oh yeah. Another trip should be plan too. Singapore! And also a shopping trip to Bandung and Jakarta. London in June? or Aussie? Oh goshhh... So many places to go, but limited time and money! NOW I'm depressed! Lolsss...
